Pinnacle Hospital Celebrates 10,000 Patients

Crown Point, Indiana – September 24, 2008 – Pinnacle Hospital is pleased to announce that in its first year it has cared for 10,000 patients. Pinnacle opened in the summer of 2007 with the help of 53 physician owners and more than 160 employees dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients.


A physician-owned hospital with 53 owners, 150 physicians on staff and more than 160 employees, Pinnacle’s patient to nurse ratio of 4 to 1 affords patients better care, quality outcomes and a higher satisfaction level. According to the Physician Hospitals of America (PHA), the trade association that represents physician-owned hospitals, 98 percent of patients are satisfied with care at physician-owned hospitals.
