Pinnacle Hosts Knee Replacement Seminar on Dec. 9

Crown Point, Indiana – Pinnacle Hospital announced  it will host a seminar, “All I Want for Christmas is a Brand New Knee”, on Tuesday, December 9 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at Pinnacle.

Each year, knee replacement is performed on more than 600,000 people worldwide. More than 90 percent of people with a total knee replacement experience an improvement in knee pain and function. Without surgery, candidates can lose the ability to walk and experience interrupted sleep.

At “All I Want for Christmas is a Brand New Knee”, attendees will learn from Gene Fedor, MD, about the various causes of knee pain and which patients are candidates for total knee replacement. Dr. Fedor will explain the new techniques used during knee replacement surgery and find out about post-operative recovery and rehabilitation.
