Amjad Alkadri, MD

Dr. Alkadri is an interventional radiologist and vein specialist with expertise in minimally invasive surgery. After his fellowship in 2000, he served for 4 years as a clinical assistant professor of radiology at the U of I Medical Center. During this time he performed hundreds of complex minimally invasive procedures using state of the art technologies. An accomplished physician-scientist, he has 20 years experience in the field of interventional radiology with special interest in varicose veins treatment and nonsurgical cosmetic procedures. He is currently a primary investigator for an ablative cosmetic treatment of the face sponsored by the FDA. Dr. Alkadri served as the chairman of radiology at Porter Hospital in Valparaiso, Indiana for 10 years. 13 years ago, Dr. Alkadri co-founded the Vein center of NW Indiana. The Vein and laser institute is one of the fastest growing vein and cosmetic centers in the Chicagoland area.
